CJ MORGAN?

My Name is CJ Morgan, and I would be honored to have your vote for Sarasota County's Republican State Committeeman. A rust-belt, limited government, Reagan Republican through and through, I was born and Raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Like many residents of Sarasota County, I grew up vacationing here, spending my summers with my grandparents who've lived here full-time since 2003. In 2015, I took a leap of faith - with $150 in my Bank Account, a car, and an 18 year old’s sense of freedom, I relocated to Venice to be closer to my grandparents and assist them during their golden years.
I started my working life at age 16 in the service industry, before transitioning to the Land-Title Industry in 2016. I worked coordinating land surveys for mortgage closings until 2021, when I transitioned over to both working from home, and the Construction Management industry for a Telecommunications Infrastructure Company, where I’ve worked as a Site Acquisition Consultant. I spend my 9-to-5 interfacing with Landlords and Tenants to lead leasing negotiations as well as working with municipalities and clients to secure Permits for Cell Tower projects for wireless companies in the Northeast.
My political beliefs were shaped by my Blue-Collar, No-Nonsense, Rust Belt upbringing. I was privileged to be taught from a young age the value of hard work, dedication, and most importantly, the love of our Country and its freedoms. From my Uncles who were blue-collar tradesmen, to my father, an Iraq War Veteran, and my Stepfather, a Paramedic and first responder in one of Pittsburgh’s most dangerous suburbs, I was surrounded by those who exemplify the values and beliefs of the people that make America the greatest country in the world. In 2021, My love for my country and the desire to protect my newfound home from the disasters of the Democrats' leadership during the Covid Pandemic led me to become involved in local politics.
After Joining the Sarasota County Republican Executive Committee in April of 2021, I saw a need to recruit younger folks, like myself, into the GOP. That’s when I stepped up and offered my talents to lead the then-defunct Sarasota Young Republicans. Since reforming the club in 2021, my team and I have grown the Sarasota YRs to become the 3rd largest Club in the State of Florida, with almost 80 Active Members. Under my Leadership the SRQYRs have become one of the most politically active Republican Clubs in the State of Florida, with over 480,000 Sarasota County voter contacts since the club reformed in 2021 and, in 2024, being the origin of the Legislation that now requires our Public School Students to learn about the horrors and domestic attempts to be overtaken by the disgusting ideology of Communism.
My success in club leadership was why, in October 2022, I was elected by my peers as the Vice Chairman of the Florida Young Republicans, and was subsequently Re-elected in June of 2023. My experience on the Local and State level demonstrate I have the drive, determination, and knowledge to help recruit, train, and elect conservatives to office, and I will utilize those experiences, as your State Committeeman, to drive the Republican Party of Florida Forward and ensure we have the next generation of Conservative Leadership ready to take up the mantle. After all, as the Gipper so often said, “Freedom is never more than a generation away from extinction.”

I've served as the President of the Sarasota Young Republicans since 2021 and Vice Chairman of the Florida Young Republicans since 2022. Under my leadership, the SRQYRs transformed from being defunct with no members, to having a thriving membership of 80 active members from Sarasota, Manatee, and Charlotte Counties, who have achieved over 480,000 voter contacts in Sarasota County on behalf of Republican candidates to help secure their election to office.
As your State Committeeman, I will ensure that the Republican Party of Florida continues to invest in the next generation, so that our party will continue to be made of strong, capable, and passionate leaders, not for just the next 4 years, but the next 10-20 years!

Growing up as the son of a 20-year combat veteran, and the stepson of a Paramedic, I was instilled with the familiar blue-collar, hard-working, America-First-Conservative can-do attitude that built this great nation.
As your State Committeeman, my promise to you is to bring that spirit with me to the Republican Party of Florida, and to ensure that our party continues to support candidates who choose Freedom over Censorship, Capitalism over Communism, and exhibit the down-home, small-government, America First values of God, Family and Country, that made the United States of America the greatest nation in the history of the world.

PRO-2ND AMENDMENT
Growing up, I was taught from a young age to value and respect our 2nd Amendment Right to Bear Arms. Our founding fathers sought to include this crucial right in the Bill of Rights because, even in 1776, they understood that the power of the people can only be protected by force, from all enemies; both foreign and domestic.
The 2nd Amendment is absolute, and is NOT up for negotiation. As your State Committeeman, I will continue to defend your rights as a gun owner, and ensure the Republican Party of Florida is fighting to ensure that that the critical right to bear arms shall NOT be infringed.

COMMITTED TO RIGHT TO LIFE
Roe v. Wade is gone, and we've instituted a 6-week abortion ban here in the state of Florida. However, our work is not done. I believe in the protection and dignity of all human life, born and unborn, and I believe in the inherent value of every person.
As your State Committeeman, I will work diligently to promote policies and practices that support the born and unborn, including mothers, fathers and families by encouraging alternatives to abortion and supporting measures that provide care and assistance to those in need. Together, we will ensure the Republican Party is the Party of Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness.
I AM 100% IN SUPPORT OF STRONG BORDERS
It's no secret that under Democrat leadership, illegal aliens are free to cross over our southern border with little regard to our existing laws on the books. The Biden administration has turned our Southern Border into a Humanitarian Crisis, and I am tired of it, as are so many of you.

As your State Committeeman, I will continue to advocate for the Republican Party of Florida to support Strong Immigration reform, closing the southern border, and finally end the Biden Border Crisis.
I AM A SMALL GOVERNMENT CONSERVATIVE.
Under the disastrous Obama and Biden administrations, we've seen government bureaucracy and red tape balloon, taking more and more of your tax dollars with every swipe of a pen. These unnecessary regulations are making it harder to do business in America, and it's time we return to the great vision of Presidents Reagan and Trump and cut unnecessary government programs and departments! ​

As your State Committeeman, I will continue to advocate for the Republican Party of Florida to support less government intervention in your day-to-day life, ensure that we take a strong stance against ballooning bureaucracy to protect your tax dollars, stand against the weaponization of government for political gain, and ensure that Socialism and Communism NEVER have a place in this country.
